About
Community Nutrition Network and Senior Services Association (CNNSSA), together with its sister organization Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois (MOWFNI), ensures that older adults and persons with disabilities stay happy, healthy, independent, and resilient by addressing hunger, food insecurity and connections within their communities.
In 2024, CNNSSA and MOWFNI aim to serve over 1 million meals to nearly 10,000 seniors. With over 1,800 square miles in several counties and 900 volunteers, CNNSSA is one of the nation's largest independent nonprofit senior meal providers, supported by MOWFNI through fundraising and outreach efforts. CNNSSA and MOWFNI seek a visionary and dynamic leader to be the face of the organizations and a public champion in the nonprofit sector.
Position Overview
The CEO will oversee program development, set strategic directions and growth strategies, establish our organization as a thought leader, and lead fundraising efforts with the Board of Directors alongside a strong executive team.
