Executive Search: Vice President of Development and Partnerships

GiGi’s Playhouse, located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, is searching for a Vice President of Development and Partnerships with the passion to change the way the world views Down syndrome. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and is an experienced development leader with a strong record of demonstrated success in closing six and seven figure gifts and in managing a successful development team. The ideal candidate also demonstrates success in working effectively with boards of directors and in navigating complex, matrixed organizations at a national scale.

About the Position

Build Something New: Build and grow a best-practice fundraising program leading to immediate growth while overseeing execution of the plan and supervision and support of up to six staff. Overlay a comprehensive moves management strategy to build a strong relationship-based and donor centric fundraising program. 

Lead with Passion: Recognize and pursue opportunities to build and maintain donor relationships. Set and drive the strategy to build a fundraising ethos grounded in a culture of philanthropy and relationship building strategies. Plan and implement strategies that identify, cultivate, close, and steward donors with the aptitude for utilizing portfolio management.
