Marklund is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals of all ages with severe and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. Its three residential locations are home to 178 residents with the support of 500 staff members and hundreds of volunteers. Marklund Day School is a State Board of Education Licensed Therapeutic Day School partnering with 30+ districts.
Marklund is presently seeking to fill two key fundraising positions, that will further grow its robust portfolio and support the Marklund promise to make everyday living possible for individuals with profound disabilities. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated passion for Marklund’s mission and values: positive attitude, accountability, compassion, creativity, and teamwork.

Enhance a Mature Development Program
Serve as the primary relationship manager with program officers and corporate executives. Thrive in a fast-paced environment as a self-directed leader, sound decision maker, innovative thinker, and detail-oriented project manager.
Support, Engage, and Nurture Relationships with Long-Standing Donors
Leverage a track record of successful five figure and above grant writing and corporate solicitation experience along with a strategic and relationship-based approach.
Annual Fund Manager
Create, Inspire, and Solicit Support
Strategically integrate various fundraising channels to build and increase Annual Fund Program results via direct mail, email marketing, telephone, and social media outreach/cultivation.
Develop Customized Campaigns
Segment and analyze d Donors according to past giving history, personal interests, and affiliation to develop constituent strategies for each appeal or campaign.
Skillfully Manage Internal and External Communications
Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to create and maintain the communication calendar, support special appeals and gift matches, and oversee stewardship program mailings.
